The Windows Server hybrid administrator is tasked with integrating Windows Server environments with Azure services and managing Windows Server in on-premises networks. This role manages and maintains Windows Server IaaS workloads in Azure also as migrating and deploying workloads to Azure. Azure administrators, enterprise architects, network engineers, Microsoft 365 administrators, and candidates for this exam secure, package, update, deploy, and configure Windows Server workloads using hybrid, on-premises, and cloud technologies. This role manages and implements on-premises and hybrid solutions, such as identity, management, security, computing, storage, networking, high availability, monitoring, and disaster recovery. Administrative tools and technologies like PowerShell, Windows Admin Center, Azure Arc, Azure Policy, Azure Automation Update Management, Microsoft Defender for Identity, Azure Monitor, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and IaaS VM administration. Prerequisites
Required
Experience with Windows Server workloads in on-premises scenarios, Windows Server operating system including AD DS, DFS, DNS, File and Storage Services, Hyper-V.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft computing, virtualization technologies, storage and networking.
Experience with Management tools of common Windows Server.
Understanding and experience with core networking technologies like Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).
Experience working with and an understanding of basic server virtualization concepts and Microsoft Hyper-V.

Basic understanding of on-premises resiliency Windows Server-based compute and storage technologies.
Basic knowledge of security-related technologies (firewalls, encryption, SIEM/SOAR, multi-factor authentication).
Basic understanding of implementation and management of IaaS services in Microsoft Azure Basic knowledge of Azure Active Directory.
Basic experience with Windows PowerShell.
